“Hey! Just wanted to say, I came to Utopia solo and was so nervous, but it ended up being the best decision ever. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so welcoming—it felt like instant connections. I chose the Playground option because I was balling on a budget, and I instantly clicked with my 7 other roommates. Everyone was so cool. I was worried about sharing space, but they were super respectful of my stuff, and I loved having my own locker and curtain for privacy.
Right away, I went to the family welcome dinner on Friday at sunset and met more friends instantly. I was shocked at how friendly everyone was! Later that night, my roommates and I went to the first event and got glammed up together. I couldn’t believe the production—it was next level. And don’t worry if costumes and lewks aren’t your thing; they have a glam station on site if you feel like joining in later. What I loved was there’s no pressure—get as dressed up as you want, everyone’s just there to have a good time.
The next morning, I took the most incredible yoga class with Kyle, who DJed while teaching. I’m not usually into classes, but this was so cool, and I met even more new people who invited me to their villa for pre-game drinks.
Happy to say this year I’m coming back with all my friends, and we got a villa—but I’ll definitely miss the bunk vibe. I started alone but left with new friends and unforgettable memories. Honestly, I can’t believe I was ever nervous about coming alone—it really changed everything for me. Utopia is all about meeting amazing people and sharing incredible experiences. Can’t wait for the next one!
